trick or treat yo self!

I’ve been looking for a new gadget to get out my writing urges wherever I please without having it be plugged in all the time and be too bulky. I wanted something fun and easy to travel with. My laptop is a little old and on the outs, but I didn’t want to get a new one until it fully dies. A new gadget would help with the tasks I need quickly done. I found a little treat that fills that criteria and more!

Best sight!

After hours of browsing and researching, narrowing down what my needs really are without getting out of hand and budget, I came across the Lenovo Yoga Book! It’s a small tablet/laptop. It folds and flips all the way around and the keyboard is basically a touch screen-esque deal (no actual buttons) that you can then turn off and draw on to digitize what you’ve drawn or handwritten. No dust gets in this thing! The screen is touch screen (it’s a tablet, after all). It’s also SO PRETTY!

I loved the way they packaged this baby….

Each part of this was neatly put together, lots of thought and detail.

After I got it open and got everything updated, I definitely spent a bit ogling over it! This is the first new bit of tech that I’ve gotten in years that wasn’t a new phone. Aside from my TV I purchased 3 years ago, this is the first computer-like item I’ve ever purchased for myself!

It’s like a journal from the future!

As you can see, there are no actual keys.

I am way too excited! Probably took too many photos…

It’s a PC, so it may take a little adjusting going from my Macbook.

Look at it all folded up! Perfect for movies. It’s doing such a good job!

It’s been a fun day playing with my new treat! I am so proud of myself for how hard I’ve been working and how set I am on achieving my goals! Bonus: the tools that’ll help me achieve my goals are quite gorgeous! 😉
